The natural sheen of Tussar silk, created here using the traditional pre-loom thigh reeling technique, is complimented by a border of Indian magenta and midnight blue motifs woven using the Phera and Jhala technique. Inspired by traditional homes in Chhattisgarh, the saree’s body is reminiscent of their mud plastered facades, while the border is a playful geometric rendition of the repetitive patterns of wooden pillars and beams.

Styling tip
A deep magenta or royal blue blouse would create a striking contrast. Alternatively, a neutral beige or off-white blouse can offer an elegant and understated look.A statement necklace with magenta and blue stones can elevate the look. Alternatively, a delicate gold necklace with a small pendant can create an elegant balance. Chandelier earrings, jhumkas, or studs with magenta and blue accents can work well. The saree is a versatile garment that can flatter any body type. Embrace your curves, lines, and edges with pride.
