We at Kosala Livelihood and Social Foundation (“we”, “us”, “our”, “Kosala”, “Company”) and our affiliates respect privacy of the individuals, and we want you to be familiar with how we collect, process, use, and disclose your information when you visit the Site. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) defines the commitment of Kosala to protect the privacy of personal information that is collected or used by Kosala in the course of your visit to our Site. Kosala will and will cause its affiliates, to establish, and maintain business procedures that are consistent with the terms of this Policy.

By accessing, downloading, using this website www.kosala.com, and any other websites (collectively, “Sites”), applications that we operate, which has a direct link to this Policy, you expressly consent to our use and disclosure of your information and agree to be governed by this Privacy Policy of the Company. Your use of the Sites is subject to this Policy.

  1. Scope

This Policy covers only information collected through the Sites and does not cover any other data collection or processing, without limitation, collection conducted offline, or through our products or services that do not link directly with this Policy, or by third-party sites that we may link to.

  1. Personal Information Kosala Collects

Personal information includes information that identifies you as an individual or relates to you as an identifiable individual.

Direct submission of Information.

  1. If you interact with the Sites, we collect information about you and/ or any entity that you may represent (e.g. Your name, organization, address, location, telephone, e-mail, fax number, etc.).
  2. You may also provide further information specific to your interaction with the Sites, such as social media profile details, where you connect with us on LinkedIn, Facebook.
  3. You may also connect with us to apply for employment, towards this you may also provide us with your employment, educational, and other personal details like interests, abilities, and the likes.
  4. In the event you are connecting with us as a supplier, or a customer, then such additional details which are essential for us to process your registration and profile. Details collected include Name, Email, Phone Number, Business & Shipping Address, Company Name and GST Registration Number

In all the scenarios indicated hereinabove, you will be actively submitting the information to us, and we will process this information basis your explicit consent.

Passive submission of Information.

  1. During your interaction with the Sites, we also collect your URL details, browser information, Internet Protocol (IP) address, time stamps, information, device details, browser details and screen resolution details about transactions on the Sites. If you use our mobile site, then we also collect your device information (such as device OS version and device hardware), unique device identifiers (including device IP address), mobile phone number and geolocation data. This data is generated and collected automatically, by our systems managing the Sites.
  2. We also use cookies to enhance your experience, and customize it, for you. A cookie is a small text file that may be stored on your computer or device used to access the Sites. Information Collected from Third Parties. As the Sites allow you to interact with us, via social media plug-ins for LinkedIn, Facebook, we will collect such necessary information from these third parties, as maybe required for your association with us on these platforms. Furthermore, you will also be bound by the terms of use, privacy policies of these third parties, and we urge you to review and familiarize yourself with the policies of these websites, prior to continuous interaction with them.

  1. We use the information that you directly submit via the Sites, to create your profile with us, provide requested information and support, conclude transactions, and otherwise to correspond with you on other requests.
  2. We use the information passively submitted by you, to generally improve the content, design and navigation of the Sites.
  3. We may combine the types of data collected, to the extent permissible in law, and as consented by you.
  4. We may conduct marketing analysis and similar research to assist us in making business decisions. Such analysis and research activities may be conducted through third party services, using anonymous data and aggregate statistics generated by our collection of information.
  5. If you have an account with us, we will send correspondence regarding your account or changes to relevant agreements or policies.
  6. If you have provided us with your professional resume, we may process the same for consideration of opportunities within the Company.
  7. In the event you are registered with us as a supplier or a customer, we have additional compliance requirements under fiscal, taxation laws, and we will use your information for such purposes.
  8. We may also, use your correspondence details to communicate any promotional information regarding our products, as well as any other information which may be relevant to you. If you do not wish to receive marketing information from us, you may opt out by declining marketing information when registering or at other information collection points on the Sites or by following opt out instructions included in such communications.

    1. Depending on the nature of information you provide to us, and the context in which such information is furnished to us, we may have differential timelines.
    2. We keep data at least as long as required by applicable law, and we may keep data as long as permitted by applicable law.
    3. You may access, correct, and/or update your information by accessing your accounts or profiles on our Sites.

  2. Cross-Border Transfers.
    1. Your personal information may be transferred to and stored in locations outside laws of the territory in which our affiliates, subsidiaries are incorporated in, and work out of. When we transfer your personal information from your home country to the alternate country, we will comply with our legal and regulatory obligations in relation to your personal information including having a lawful basis for transferring personal information and putting appropriate safeguards in place to ensure an adequate level of protection for the personal information.
